One Connect documentation
One Connect is a local-first control center for your Mac. It runs a team of AI coding agents from different vendors on the subscriptions you already pay for, and keeps one append-only log of everything they and you do.
What One Connect does#
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents each run through their vendor's official tool, signed in with your account. One Connect hands each agent an issue, a git worktree and branch of its own, and a live console. It watches every run, re-checks the work itself, and routes anything risky to you. Issues, assignments, runs, branches, handoffs and your decisions are connected in one event log.
- Bring your own subscriptions. Agents use the plans you already pay for. API-key variables are stripped from agent runs, and metered billing blocks dispatch unless you opt in for one agent.
- One log. Every state change is a typed event in an append-only SQLite log. The dashboard, your phone and the reports are all views of it.
- A console per agent. Live transcript, tool approvals, diff, tests, handoff and history, for every agent at once.
- Failures made loud. Stalls, idle agents with work queued, tracker drift, usage limits, out-of-scope edits and pushes to protected branches raise alerts or come to you for a decision.
- Evidence before Done. The engine re-runs your required checks itself, at the exact commit, in a local Docker runtime. An issue is Done only with verified merge and acceptance evidence.
- Shared context. Every agent reads the same cited project knowledge: committed code, docs, the design contract, team notes and an optional code graph.
- A design studio. Describe an interface; your design agent proposes screens you keep or discard, reviewed against a versioned design system.
- Answers from your phone. An optional private tunnel lets a paired phone answer questions and approvals.
Who it is for#
One person running several coding agents on their own Mac, using their own subscriptions. It is not a hosted service and it never pools or shares accounts. If other people will use your installation, switch to API-keys-only mode.

Important
One Connect is being built and isn't available to download yet. It will be free and open source, Mac first, on Apple silicon. It started when its maker had trouble managing their own project, and saw a chance to give back to the community.
| Area | Working today | Still being verified |
|---|---|---|
| Engine | Daemon, event store, detached runs that survive restarts, kill switch, rules and alerts | Long-running use with live subscription agents |
| Agents | Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, generic CLI and relay adapters, each with a contract suite on captured streams | Live provider runs for every adapter and model source |
| Work | Board, dispatch with pre-flight, worktrees, independent review, local merge, post-merge checks | GitHub and Linear round trips with live: true |
| Context | Dictionary intake, cited retrieval, Obsidian notes, Graphify, bundled local models | General retrieval quality on large real projects |
| Designer | Versioned design contracts, design documents, proposals, mock capture, review and handoff | Real provider design quality |
| Phone and release | Pairing and scope model, notifications, ordered release plans with fixtures | Real tunnel, device, CI and deployment acceptance |
The exact bundle and evidence for the latest checkpoint are in the repository's current preview record.
How these docs are organized#
- Get started: install the app, first-run setup, or run the engine from source.
- Concepts: the vocabulary and the architecture underneath.
- Using One Connect: one guide per part of the app.
- Reference: configuration, the
acccommand line, agent tools, the HTTP API and the security model. - Contribute: development, extending One Connect, releasing and licensing.
- Help: troubleshooting and frequently asked questions.
Note
The command line is called acc and the app-data identifier is dev.agentcontrolcenter.desktop. Both come from the project's earlier name, Agent Control Center, and are kept so existing projects and logs stay accessible.
Not affiliated#
One Connect is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Anysphere (Cursor), GitHub, Linear, Obsidian or any other vendor. Product names only identify compatible tools, and no vendor logos are included.
